ECO-BALLAST is the stabilizer in the ECO-ROAD SAFETY line, developed for vertical construction zone signage. Made from recycled SBR rubber derived from end-of-life tires (ELTs), it uses its own weight to help stabilize the signs without requiring filling with water, sand, or other materials. Its unique interlocking design also allows multiple units to be stacked when it is necessary to increase the applied load.

Stability for Temporary Vertical Signs
ECO-BALLAST is designed to stabilize vertical construction site signage and limit the swaying and movement of signs. Its interlocking design allows multiple bases to be stacked when conditions require a higher load capacity. Specific slots cut into the product can also help support the sign’s frame.
Function
Support and ballasting without filling
ECO-BALLAST makes direct use of the rubber element’s mass and does not require filling with water, sand, or other materials. This eliminates the need for fill materials that could scatter onto the road surface.

Black version or version with a yellow stripe
ECO-BALLAST is available in two versions: black or with a yellow side stripe. In both configurations, an optional rope handle can be added to make it easier to grip and move the unit.
Black Version: All-black ballast body.

A platform designed for the operational management of the construction site
The design of ECO-BALLAST allows multiple units to be stacked on top of one another when it is necessary to increase the load applied to the signage. This stackability also simplifies transport to and from the construction site and storage in the warehouse.
