Perfect for playgrounds and outdoor recreational spaces, ECO-HOLMAT is tested according to UNI EN 1177 to ensure high safety standards. It is also designed to provide optimal drainage, easily adapting to uneven surfaces and allowing grass to grow. Its versatility and light weight make it an ideal solution for any type of installation. It can be laid on natural terrain, including sloping ground and lawns, but can also be used on artificial pavements or for temporary use.
ECO-HOLMAT is available in a standard size:
Size: 100 cm x 150 cm
Thickness: 21 mm
Weight: 12 kg per sheet (8 kg/sqm)
ECO-HOLMAT is available exclusively in the color black.
ECO-HOLMAT can be supplied with stakes, fastening ties and stabilizing net for installations on natural terrain such as soil and grass intended for compliance with the playground standard UNI EN 1177.
The laying of ECO-HOLMAT is quick and easy but it is necessary to follow the prescribed steps and use the installation accessories to comply with the indicated “CFH” value. The laying process consists of the following steps:
Preparing the background
Remove stones, roots or other irregularities and level the surface to ensure an even base by going to create a laying trough of adequate thickness. Directly seed the leveled soil for the subgrade.
Place the reinforcement net
Once the laying site has been prepared, proceed with placing the stabilizing mesh directly in contact with the subgrade.
Laying and assembly
Laying plates ECO-HOLMAT over the stabilizing net following the layout of the area and, if necessary, cut them to size to fit the spaces. Use stakes to anchor them to the ground and plastic ties to connect the edges together. For temporary use or on artificial pavements, simply lay the plates by connecting them together, without further work.
